1. Start with the essentials: Open the Government & Official and Banking & Finance categories first — these have legal weight and often longer lead times.
2. Work category by category: Expand a category to see its contacts. Each one has a checkbox; tick it off once you have updated your address there and it lines through.
3. Watch your progress: Each category shows its own mini progress bar, and the bar at the top tracks your overall percentage across everything.
4. Customize freely: Every household is different. Add the specific companies and services you use to any category, or remove the ones that do not apply to you.

Why update your address everywhere

Mail redirection is a safety net, not a solution — most redirection services expire after a few months and do not cover everything. Updating the source directly ensures cards, renewals, tax letters, and refunds reach you, keeps insurance and warranty policies valid, and stops sensitive mail from arriving at your old address where someone else could open it.
